Debra inspires those yearning for deeper intimacy with Jesus to cultivate a hunger for His presence. Through her writing, she guides readers toward the love, peace, and purpose their hearts seek, inviting them into a transformative conversation with God. For over twenty years she has walked ever closer to Christ; now she crafts devotionals that invite lingering, unhurried reflection and the quiet joy of abiding in Scripture. Her passion for the Word and prayer shines through, rooted in her lifelong desire to know God more deeply, whether leading worship in prayer sets or echoing the psalmist’s cry to seek Him above all.

A devoted wife of nearly 30 years and mother of five, Debra makes her home in Columbia, Missouri, where she homeschools the youngest two. She and her husband enjoy their three grown children, each walking vibrantly with Jesus. Debra’s adventurous spirit leads her to embrace travel, open to almost anywhere a plane will take her. She finds joy in God’s creation through family hikes and time outdoors. A fan of board and card games, she cherishes moments of connection with her family—and dark chocolate (of course!) or any meal that doesn’t require her to set foot in the kitchen. Her aversion to TV and movies leads her to delight in reading short, clean, fun stories like The Boxcar Children. Through her faith, family, and creative pursuits, Debra lives to glorify God and inspire others to do the same.
